make things too strict and hold the reigns too tight and people will rebell. I would have like to have posted in the school thread and see no reason it should have been locked. you cant make it so we cant say anything contraversial or it will really be rough to post

chaser, that is not the case at all. I did not lock the school thread, that was Guitardeth's call, and I will not speak for him. As far as the political discussions, I was getting complaints and people were tired of them, so instead of banning it all the way, I devised a way that people can talk all the politics they want, as long as they are respectable to others, and the threads won't clutter up the board. I see nothing wrong with this at all. It should make everyone happy, but of course, it doesn't.
